About
Noble Institute was founded in 1997 with Gregg Harris serving as President and Director. It is incorporated as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt educational organization for the specific purpose of “developing Christian leadership in every area of life for every season of life.” The Rebelution Website and Rebelution Conferences operate under the auspices of Noble Institute as one of several exciting and revolutionary projects. To support The Rebelution please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to Noble Institute through our website.
HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH
Noble Institute is heavily involved in Local Church Reform through the ministry of Household of Faith Community Church (HOFCC). HOFCC is a local church planting movement of nearly 900 members which meets as a “cluster” of four congregations in the Metro Area of Portland, Oregon. HOFCC reunites church and home for the benefit of both. Its goal is to equip every Christian to serve God as an Ambassador for Christ and every household as an effective embassy of the Kingdom of God. For more information on our key church reforms visit our website.
THE REBELUTION
The “Do Hard Things” live conference. This coming year there will be a 5 city tour, Louisville, Chicago, L.A., Birmingham, and Washington D.C. The conferences feature Alex and Brett Harris and promote the idea of the Rebelution and the book, “Do Hard Things,” which is for teenagers to rebel against the low-expectations of the culture and to do hard things for the glory of God. For more information, visit therebelution.com.
The “Do Hard Thing” DVD Conference. The DVD conferences are an opportunity for teens everywhere to host their own conference. We much and the same effort and much of the same results from teens who put these conferences on. For more information on DVD conferences, see our events page.
NOBLEBOOKS.ORG
The Noblebooks.org store is a central location where all of the products offered by Noble Institute are sold. The web-site features books, t-shirts, MP3’s, and conference registrations.
THE PAUL AND TIMOTHY PROJECT
Paul and Timothy exists to bring reform to the way young leaders are trained in the local church. P&T does this by focusing on 5 specific areas, Theological Education, Mentorship, Pre-eldership Ministry, Character Development, and Pastoral Skills. P&T are currently writing a book that we intend to be ready for publishing in 2009, and we are planning a conference in October 2009.
