Good News Project (GNP) is a ministry partnership between pastors, Christian business people and evangelistic organizations to publish full page presentations of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in secular newspapers.

GNP draws from some of the most highly respected Christian authors in the church today, including Randy Alcorn, Luis Palau, John Piper, Wayne Grudem, Joshua Harris and Dr. James Dobson.

How Does It Work?

GNP articles are published uncut and uncensored in secular newspapers as full page, paid advertisements.

LOCAL CHURCHES join together to cover the cost of purchasing advertising space and, as sponsors, their names, locations, and contact information are featured in a sidebar alongside each gospel article.

CHRISTIAN BUSINESSES unite to underwrite the cost of article development -- including design, layout and other administration. Ministry businesses may have their corporate logos and web addresses featured in a graybar at the bottom of each article.

OUR GNP STAFF are responsible for development, including author recruitment, editing, layout, and final publication. We also coordinate church, business, and ministry sponsors to hold evangelistic events that follow up on the publication of each gospel article.

What Does It Accomplish?

The Good News Project REACHES thousands of people: One GNP article can reach up to 100,000 readers with a clear presentation of the Gospel in a non-threatening context.

The Good News Project INCREASES biblical literacy: Tens of thousands of people gain a better understanding of the Gospel and receive an accurate representation of the Christian faith.

The Good News Project ENCOURAGES evangelism: Asking someone whether they've seen the GNP article is an ideal way to start sharing your faith with them.

How Can I Get Involved?

You can help GNP in four important ways: (1) by prayer, (2) by monthly financial support, (3) by using our articles in your personal evangelism, and (4) by introducing our work to your church, collegues and friends. Just as you faithfully support foreign missionaries, we ask that you engage in the publication of the Gospel in your own community.
